The First day is always stressful

AF3 auditions are coming up, maybe I should enrol and write an insider story- I am in the Youth and Pop Culture beat anyway.

Aku keje dgn junie woonie today (I'm not ashamed at using this name!) and I got to see how such an excellent reporter she is. I know many don't feel that way, especially in the beginning. But I saw her take one small piece of information and make it into one whole story.
She just had one name- a name of a company. And with her contacts she called one person to another person until she got the MD of that company and arranged an interview in less than an hour. Cool!

OK, i know many have done this- and it's a normal part of a reporter's job but it was this line that really affected me:
When she was calling this guy on the phone, she told the MD, who was practically about to scream at her: "I'm giving you this chance to give your side of the story."
She was giving him the chance to explain himself, to DEFEND himself.
Many times I have been told to not regard this as JUST a job. Many people have told me that I should only do this job if I am passionate about it. Unlike huns and junie, I don't think I have the passion for it. I accidentally regarded the job as school the other day.
"I have school, woops, I mean work tomorrow." For me school was always something I HAD to go through. It wasn't a joy. Sure, it had nice moments, but mostly it was a chore.

here I am again, going on and on about THIS job. Takde modal lain ke nak blog.

Malam ni aku interview Butterfingers, one of my favorite bands- Made in Malaysia some more! Tapi album baru diaorg a bit hard to digest, I mean hello, Butterfingers singing in Malay? Emmet sounds like a mat salleh sesat trying to sing in Malay man, complete with mat salleh slang singing in Malay! But then aku tengok Loque nyanyi lagu yg sama hari tu and even he used a mat salleh slang to sing in Malay. By the way he looked good when I saw Loque on VCD.

I was off for three whole days and I spent a lotta that time trying to get some. But I failed on most accounts.
Then F*** told me that I shouldn't try too hard when I'm looking for a lay. She asked me if I had gotten some in Bali. Dude, everyone is askingme that. I told her I didn't and she said 'well that's because you tried too hard.'
I believe that, imagine hanging out in the lake for two nights in a row and trying to get some. Nyah, exausting, ok! Last-last I got sick by the third day coz I was awake all nite and sleepin' all day.

So I should just chill.

I finally asked this one dude what I wanted to say for a long time "When are we gonna meet again?"
AND he replied my SMS saying: "hehe..anytime."
Yesterday when I was watching 'The Girl Next Door' the heroine was telling the awkward nerdy guy: "Just ask me." The nerdy guy was beating around teh bush with all these 'unnecessary questions about whether she had some I dunno what the heck stuff, when all he wanted to know was: DO YOU HAVE A BOYFRIEND?

JUST ASK. GET TO THE POINT!
