Great songs now.....

My Love- Justin Timberlake featuring T.I.

It's Justin's ode to the woman in her life. No prizes for guessing who. The boy sings about a ring representing his love, and sitting on the grass in the countryside, holding hands, sitting on the beach, etc... But the most interesting part is the hook and the beat. You've probably heard this sound before. Producer extraordinaire Timbaland brings back the beats he made popular during the late 90s. Remember the rattling sound in Aaliyah's "Are You That Somebody? " ? Well it's used her as well. Of course, neither Timbaland nor Timberlake are going to sit on their laurels. It's definitely a fresher sound and oh so dancable. Don't believe me? Just check out the video. Slick R&B/hip-hop moves, great scenery and more distinctively, great camera angles. Considering it's a dance video- the director let's the cameras go all around his subject, giving us a panoramic view of Timberlake and his dancers. Brilliant.

Chasing Cars- Snow Patrol

A great song when you're tucking in bed alone on a rainy night; or driving alone at night. Basically it's a good song when you're alone... But if you want to "waste time, chasing cars inside our heads" with a loved one, can also-lah!

Too Little Too Late- Jojo

Little Jojo debuted two years ago with the R&B-laden "Leave (Get Out)" and "Baby It's You". This year, the 15-year-old is back with the equally infectious Too Little Too Late. Baby, this girl has a pout similar to that of Posh Spice. But she ain't no Spice Girl, that's for sure. This song, for example is a testament to her grasp of the ups and downs of relationships.

London Bridge - Fergie
Still quite hot. I don't give a #$@K let's go!

Shake Your Money Maker- Ludacris featuring Pharrel
Shake that thang, baby!

Long Way 2 Go - Cassie
Aiyo, budak ni nak rapping pulak. Perlu ke? But it's only her first album, so she might as well cover all genres. Rumours say she can't sing live. Takpe la, as long as she can rap the words, sudahlah. Well if it doesn't work out I'm sure she can fall back on that modelling career.

I'm Not Missing You - Staccie Orrico
Mmm....Mix FM always plays this one. And I must confess it's a catchy song.

You Don't Know - Eminem & 50 cent
KICK-ASS song, people!

Cable Car - The Fray
One of those Bend Fold Five-ish, Better Than Ezra-like, kinda-Del Amitri, similarly-Switchfoot-ish...bands. Haha..but the song can transport you to some arty-farty cafe in Seattle, or is that just me? Makes you think of university co-eds wearing snuggly sweaters sipping coffee at Central Perk.

Move Along - All American Rejects
This song was hot some months ago. But I only got into it when I bought a mix CD. I love the part where the choir kids start singing to the chorus. Great if you need a little pick-me-up when you're demotivated.
