Being in a place like this makes me think of several TV shows: Bear with me now....
NORTHERN EXPOSURE
Remember that TV show about a doctor who moved to some small town in Alaska and bam!.... He fell in love/ lived life/ made friends/basically learned about himself. That actor who plays the lead now appears in another series, Numbers.

If you minus the fact that Ed moved back to his hometown because he was frustrated after his girlfriend slept with the postman, everything else is so me. hehe..
MEN IN TREES
Quixotic Quil gave a big 'thumbs down' to this Anne Heche drama series. I've never seen it. There are some eyecandy, but what use is that if there's no good story line? I mean, you can watch it for maybe, five minutes. After that, you just get bored.
