After reading someone else's poem

Life is never simple.
As long as you live, everything will be complicated- in one way or another, sooner or later.

But just occassionally, you get those lovely blissful moments....
a relaxing trip to the park (yes, I'm refering to you)
that warm embrace of a lover
that infectious laughter with a friend
that look of love at first sight
that feeling of knowing what you want
that jolt of jealousy
that yummy-licious ice cream sundae
that final farewell
the stabbing pain of heartache
those sobs of sorrow


Pity those simple moments never last long- if you're not careful you might even miss them
Because they can be gone in a second
